The Toledo Area Chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW), People Called Women feminist bookstore (PCW), Toledo Chapter of the American Association of University Women (AAUW), Nirvana NOW! and University of Toledo Women’s and Gender Studies Department (UT WGST) are partnering to honor Gloria Steinem and help keep feminism alive in Northwest Ohio.

This project is ongoing, working toward the goal of a stand alone non-profit community center that will house the library/archive and also be a center for feminist education and activism in Gloria’s hometown. If you would like to make a donation please bring or mail a check to the bookstore with “Steinem’s Sisters” in the memo section, and made payable to “Toledo National Organization for Women."

Your input is encouraged! Please email suggestions for additional books and other media you consider essential to this feminist library honoring Gloria Steinem, or check the Event's page for the next Steinem's Sisters organizing meeting.
